Learn how to set up data selection schemes and assign them to assay elements in Dose-response analysis documents.
Before you begin
We recommend becoming familiar with the data selection schemes concept of PLA 3.0 before beginning. For details, see the
Data selection schemes topic.
About this task
Created from scratch, Dose-response analysis documents have one data
selection scheme that selects all data points. In this example, we set up the data
selection scheme such that it selects a partial range only.
Note: This task shows how to efficiently work with the document structure in
this context. Best practices or recommendations regarding the setup of assays are
not covered.
Procedure
To set up a data selection scheme:
In the Content editor of your Dose-response analysis document, go to Analysis > Data selection schemes > Data selection scheme.
Change the name of the scheme to match the modified setup, for example,
Partial sequence scheme.
Switch from All sequence steps to Range
partial.
Set up the range:
As the Step start, enter
3.
As the Step stop, enter
7.
Tip:PLA 3.0 automatically applies the new settings
to all assay elements that use this data selection scheme. In our example,
these are the Standard and the
Test elements.
Save the document.

selection scheme for a partial range to its respective samples:Figure 1. Assignment of a data selection scheme to a test sample
