Learn how to create assay elements in Dose-response analysis
documents.
Before you begin
We recommend becoming familiar with the assay element concept of PLA 3.0 before beginning. For details, see the
Assay elements topic.
About this task
Created from scratch, Dose-response analysis documents have one assay
element for the reference standard and one for the test sample. In this example, we
create five extra test samples.
Note: This task shows how to efficiently work with the document structure in
this context. To see how you configure assay elements in a practical example, see
the Use case: Determine total human thyroxine (T4) topic.
Procedure
To create assay elements:
In the Content editor of your Dose-response analysis document, go to Setup > Assay elements.
In the Creatable elements pane, right-click
Test, and then select Create multiple
elements from the context menu.
In the Create multiple elements dialog, change the value
of Number of elements to create to
5.
To add the elements, select OK.
Result: Your assay document now has six Test assay
elements.
Save the document.

(enhanced response data processing)' sample document shows a possible setup with six
test samples:Figure 1. Sample setup of six test samples
