Learn how to create report groups and assign them to assay elements in Dose-response analysis documents.
Before you begin
We recommend becoming familiar with the report groups concept of PLA 3.0 before beginning. For details, see the
Report groups topic.
About this task
Created from scratch, Dose-response analysis documents do not contain
report groups. In this example, we create four report groups and assign one of the
groups to the test sample.
Note: This task shows how to efficiently work with the document structure in
this context. Best practices or recommendations regarding the setup of assays are
not covered.
Procedure
To create report group:
In the Content editor of your Dose-response analysis document, go to Setup > Report groups.
In the Creatable elements pane, right-click
Report group, and then select Create
multiple elements from the context menu.
In the Create multiple elements dialog, change the value
of Number of elements to create to
4.
To add the elements, select OK.
Result: Your assay document now has four Report group
elements.
To assign a report group to an assay element:
Go to Setup > Assay elements.
Select the Test element.
In the Creatable elements pane, double-click
Report group.
Result: Your Test element now has a Report
group child element.
From the Report group drop-down list, select the group
you want to assign.
Save the document.
