bioMérieux Endotoxin Detection Assay Package

Current add-on version: 2.0.0 (build 93)

Use the bioMérieux Endotoxin Detection Assay Package add-on to perform endotoxin testing based on recombinant factor C (rFC), a synthetic alternative to naturally sourced reagents derived from horseshoe crabs, as offered by the bioMérieux company.

Introduction

The bioMérieux Endotoxin Detection Assay Package add-on, in combination with the Tecan Magellan™ Import Module for bioMérieux Endotoxin Detection Assays, supports you in analyzing assays created with the bioMérieux ENDOLISA®, ENDOZYME® II GO, and ENDOZYME® II GO STRIPS assay kits.

To create the assay data you want to analyze with PLA 3.0, start by using one of the supported bioMérieux assay kits alongside a Tecan Magellan™ reader control software. The assay kit you use determines your assay layout.

After you created your assay data, make it available so that PLA 3.0 can access it.

Next, import your data into PLA 3.0 using the Tecan Magellan™ Import Module for bioMérieux Endotoxin Detection Assays. For details on how to work with this add-on, see the Tecan Magellan™ Import Module for bioMérieux Endotoxin Detection Assays topic. This step requires a template. You can use one of the templates provided by the bioMérieux Endotoxin Detection Assay Package or create your own templates. For details on the available templates, see the Templates topic.

After the data is successfully imported, you analyze your assay data using the bioMérieux endotoxin detection assay document type provided by the bioMérieux Endotoxin Detection Assay Package. For details on this document type, see the bioMérieux endotoxin detection assays topic.

Note: You can also use the data analysis function of the bioMérieux Endotoxin Detection Assay Package without the Tecan Magellan™ Import Module for bioMérieux Endotoxin Detection Assays. In this case, you need to manually enter your observation data, as described in the use case of this add-on.
