- Login dialogUse the Login dialog to select the database you want to work             with and sign in. Refresh your information package, manage databases, perform an             Installation Qualification, and find information on the PLA 3.0             system. 
- Main windowWhen you log in to PLA 3.0, the main window opens, providing a             set of basic items. 
- Document paneWhen you create a new or open an existing document, the                 document pane opens on the right side of the PLA 3.0 main window.                 This pane is your main area when working with documents. 
- DashboardUse the document dashboard on the right side of the PLA 3.0 main window to get an overview of your document data and                 view recent changes. In the case of biological assay documents, the dashboard shows                 document definitions and a graphical summary of calculation results. 
- Content editorThe Content editor is the main editor for all document             types and opens by default when you create a document. 
- Data editorsUse data editors to enter observation data and set up assay                 layouts. Each editor has the same data but provides a different view on your                 data. 
- Keyboard shortcutsKeyboard shortcuts are keys or combinations of keys. Use them as an alternative way         to do something that you would  typically do with a mouse.
