Database policies

Control and document aspects of how users access individual databases. Set password policies and the system-idle lock, enable compliant electronic signatures, require users to specify why they change data, enable database templates, and more.

Provide information on databases to improve navigation and support users who work with them.

Configuration report

Configuration reports (also referred to as configuration item list or CIL) summarize the configuration of the database as it is presented to the user who creates the report.

Refresh information package

Refresh your information package to have the most recent add-ons displayed on the Add-ons tab.

Account management

Opens the Account management tab, where you can set up global and document roles

Directory service

Use secure LDAP (LDAPS) directory services, such as Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services, to authenticate PLA 3.0 users. You map your PLA 3.0 groups, which have PLA 3.0 roles assigned, to user groups set up on a directory server.

My account

Opens the My account dialog, where you can change your account details and avatar.

Change password

Opens the Change your password dialog, where you can enter a new password.

Add-on management

Opens the Add-on management tab, where you can manage your existing add-ons and request trial versions or quotes for add-ons not yet included in your license.

Session management

View and manage the sessions of all users who are currently connected to the database.

Audit trail

Audit trails provide secure electronic records that you can use to track who changed what, when, and why. Use the audit trail of PLA 3.0 to track and communicate events related to actions such as user access, changes in work environments, and changes to data and documents.

Lock PLA

Locks PLA 3.0.

Lock database

Locks the current database.
