Set up visualization

Learn how to set up visualization options in Equivalence margin development documents.

Before you begin

We recommend becoming familiar with the visualization concept of PLA 3.0 before beginning. For details, see the Visualization topic.

About this task

Set up visualization to gain an understanding of your test system behavior based on historic data from you source assays.

Procedure

To set up visualization:
  1. In the Content editor of your Equivalence margin development document, go to Visualization.
  2. Use the Max configurations option to control how many plots PLA 3.0 creates for each strategy.
Note: In a restrictive test system, reducing this number noticeably reduces the time required for calculation.
    Example: 30
  3. Use the Max simulations option to control how many candidate curves PLA 3.0 generates.

If the maximal number of simulations is reached before the desired number of viable configurations was found, PLA 3.0 stops the calculation and shows only the viable configurations found thus far.

Note: PLA 3.0 discards curves that do not pass the strategy. We therefore recommend you use a number larger than the value you entered for Max configurations.
    Example: 10000
  4. Save the document.
