Homogeneously weighted

Homogeneously weighted combination calculations assume that the assay results to be combined are independent, and homogeneous regarding the potency being estimated. Differences between the individual results should be consistent with their standard errors.

When calculating the combined relative potency, this method accounts for intra- and inter-assay variability. When calculating the confidence interval of the combined relative potency, only intra-assay variability is accounted for.
