Create configuration reports

Create PDF reports to document and communicate pertinent information on database configurations.

Note: Depending on the size of the database and the amount of included information, creating a configuration report can take several minutes.

About this task

To create a configuration report, you need at least the Edit database policies permission.

Procedure

To create a configuration report:
  1. On the System menu, select Configuration report.
  2. In the Create configuration report dialog, on the Settings tab, select the information you want to include in the report.
    Note: Some additional information is always included in the report, for example, the user who created the report or general information on the database.
  3. If you do not want to use the default target folder, select […] to select a different folder.
  4. To create the report, select Proceed.
    Result: The report is created. A progress dialog shows the configuration items and corresponding process status.
  5. To view the resulting PDF, select Report.
