Key-based filters

Use key-based filters if your source documents should have specific keys (such as template keys or folder keys). For example, you can filter for documents created based on a specific template or located in a specific folder.

Example: Filter for template keys

You can configure key-based filters such that PLA 3.0 can only reference documents created from a specific template.

From the six documents in the following example, only three are created from Template-3. Therefore, PLA 3.0 only uses these three documents as source documents.

Example: Filter for folder keys

You can configure key-based filters such that PLA 3.0 can only reference documents located in a specific folder.

From the six documents in the following example, only two are located in Folder-14. Therefore, PLA 3.0 only uses these two documents as source documents.

Note: By default, PLA 3.0 does not include documents in subfolders. To also reference those documents, add the Allow subfolder element and set it to 'true.'
