Before you begin

Make sure your system has enough free disk space and meets the system requirements.
Make sure you have permissions to install programs in the C:\Program Files (x86) directory.
Make sure you have permissions to write in the C:\ProgramData directory.

About this task

The PLA 3.0 license system provides the PLA License Key Manager and the PLA License Control Center applications. You use these applications during the licensing process.

Procedure

On the computer or license server that should hold the PLA 3.0 license, complete the following steps:

Run the PLA_License_System_1.1.0.57-windows.exe setup file as an administrator.
Follow the setup assistant to install the PLA 3.0 license system.

Results

The setup assistant installs the PLA License Key Manager and the PLA License Control Center in your environment and adds the respective shortcuts to your desktop. The PLA License Control Center shortcut uses the icon of your default browser.
