The PLA 3.0.7.1017-windows-x64.exe file installs the PLA 3.0 framework. The PLA 3.0 framework is responsible for the integrity and reliability of measurement data. It provides the features you need to achieve regulatory compliance such as access control, data integrity, security, validation, and traceability.

The PLA_License_System_1.1.0.57-windows.exe file installs the PLA License System. The PLA 3.0 license system provides the PLA License Key Manager and the PLA License Control Center applications. You use these applications during the licensing process.

The <serial_number>.edpip represents your information package that contains your PLA 3.0 license, required to run the PLA 3.0 framework, and a set of license keys, required to run your PLA 3.0 add-ons.

The <add-on>.edpao file installs the respective add-on. Add-ons are responsible for statistical features and other functions. They provide extensions such as document types, report templates, data acquisition modules, and customer-specific modules.
