7. Download and refresh your information package

Required for offline environment installations.

PLA 3.0 distributes license keys employing an information package. If PLA 3.0 cannot access the internet, you have to manually download and refresh your information package to authenticate your license keys.

Procedure

To download your information package:

On a computer connected to the internet, access https://www.bioassay.de/informationpackage.
Enter your five-digit serial number to look up your information package.
Download the package and make it available on the computer running PLA 3.0.

To refresh your information package manually:

Start PLA 3.0.
In the Login dialog, select Tools, and select Refresh information package from the drop-down list.
In the Refresh information package dialog, select … next to Refresh from a file.
Navigate to the directory where you have saved the information package (.edpip) file, select it, and then select Open.
Select OK.
