Import the PLA 2.x document

Import the PLA 2.x document with the assay data you want to migrate into your PLA 3.0 environment.

Before you begin

Make sure a *.psf file with the assay data you want to migrate is available in a location where PLA 3.0 can access it.

Procedure

To import the PLA 2.x document:

1. In the Navigator, right-click the folder to which you want to add the document.
2. From the context menu, select Import….
3. In the Importing documents dialog, select 'PLA 2.x (*.psf) Documents' and select OK.
4. In the Import data dialog, next to Source file, select the source file(s) button (...).
5. Navigate to the document you want to import, select it, and select Open.
6. To import the PLA 2.x document, select Start.

Results

PLA 3.0 imports the data into a folder with the name of the imported file.
