Select the import format
You can activate any number of Data Acquisition Modules in your PLA 3.0 database. Each module can support several import formats and each import format covers the format of a specific external data source. Therefore, when starting the data acquisition process, you have to select the import format you want to use for the current session.
Procedure
To select the import format:

On the action bar, select
Acquire data.
Result: The Select import format dialog opens. For each activated Data Acquisition Module, an Import format entry is displayed.Tip: In most cases, the entry consists of the module name and the associated import format in parenthesis. If a module supports several import formats, one entry is available for each combination of module and import format. -
In the Select import format dialog, select the import
format that corresponds to the file type from which you want to acquire data.
Magellan files can contain different data depending on the test.
- Tecan Magellan™ Native (Difference data - Blank) (*.wsp): Import *.wsp files containing a data block named 'Difference data' with the difference between measurement and reference data, after blank reduction.
- Tecan Magellan™ Native (Difference data) (*.wsp): Import *.wsp files containing a data block named 'Difference data' with the difference between measurement and reference data, before blank reduction.
- Tecan Magellan™ Native (Measurement data - Blank) (*.wsp): Import *.wsp files containing measurement data, after blank reduction.
- Tecan Magellan™ Native (Measurement data) (*.wsp): Import *.wsp files containing measurement data, before blank reduction.
- Tecan Magellan™ Native (Raw data - Blank) (*.wsp): Import *.wsp files containing raw data, after blank reduction.
- Tecan Magellan™ Native (Raw data) (*.wsp): Import *.wsp files containing raw data, before blank reduction.
- Select OK.
