Example 4: Placeholder keyedcounter:KEY
In this example, we use the keyedcounter:KEY
placeholder to
distinguish between instructions and requirements.
Procedure
To configure the template:
- Add three Comment elements to a template
- To each Comment element, add a Subject subelement.

In the Initial value text box of two of the
Subject subelements, complete the following
steps:
- Type the word Instruction.
- Type a space.

Insert the
keyedcounter
placeholder. - Replace 'KEY' with comment_key_inst.

In the Initial value text box of the third
Subject subelement, complete the following
steps:
- Type the word Requirement.
- Type a space.

Insert the
keyedcounter
placeholder. - Replace 'KEY' with comment_key_req.
- Save the template and create a document from the template.
