        You can define the handling of invalid values of the source file using the Values tab of the configuration dialog.
      - Set up properties files
        By default, PLA 3.0 users can use all configuration profiles available for a Data Acquisition Module and can create, edit, and delete all configuration profiles. Using the properties file of a Data Acquisition Module, you can restrict these rights if you require.
  - Data acquisition
    Acquire data to import response values from external systems into existing PLA 3.0 documents.

  Use the Microsoft Excel® Data Acquisition Module to acquire data from generic Excel (*.xls and *.xlsx) files, independent from the device you are using.

Settings

The following settings are available to configure the data source:


Setting	Description
Select data at runtime	Select which data values to import during the data acquisition process.
Predefine data	Use the configuration profile to define the data values to be imported.
Import all plates	Standard protocol: Import all plates Multi-assay protocol: Import all plates available in the export for which the matrix was exported
Import specific plate	The name of the specific plate you want to import.
Matrix	The name of the matrix on the plate you want to import. Note: The name is case-sensitive.
Value	The value you want to import. Note: The name is case-sensitive.
