Preparation

Use a computer with internet connection to access our Download Center. Download the required setup files and distribute them in your environment, according to your deployment scenario.

Provide your contact details, enter your serial number, and submit the form. To access the setup files, you can follow the guidance or show all available setup files in a list.

Setup files

The following table lists the setup files you need to download.


Option	Setup file	Description
Download PLA 3.0 software PLA 3.0.7 SR1 (build 1017)	Downloads the PLA 3.0.7.1017-windows-x64.exe file that installs the PLA 3.0 framework. Distribute this file to all computers on which you intend to run PLA 3.0.	The framework is responsible for the integrity and reliability of measurement data. It supports access control, data integrity, security, validation, and traceability.
The latest and previous add-on versions for single download	Opens a page where you can download the setup files of the add-ons you require. Distribute the files to a folder accessible by PLA 3.0.	Add-ons are responsible for statistical features and other functions. Provide extensions such as document types, report templates, data acquisition modules, and customer-specific modules.
Download your personal information package Your personal information package	Opens a page where you can look up and download your personal <serial_number>.edpip file. Distribute this file to a folder accessible by PLA 3.0.	Your information package contains the PLA 3.0 license, required to run the PLA 3.0 framework, and a set of license keys, required to run your PLA 3.0 add-ons.
Download PLA License System PLA License System	Downloads the PLA_License_System_1.1.0.57-windows.exe file that installs the PLA License System. Distribute this file to the computer or license server that should hold the PLA 3.0 license.	The PLA License System provides the PLA License Key Manager and the PLA License Control Center applications. You use these applications during the licensing process.

Example

In this example, the PLA 3.0 application (framework and add-ons) is going to be installed on a local computer. The respective setup files and the setup file of the information package are made available on this computer. The PLA License System is going to be installed on a license server:
