Refresh your information package

PLA 3.0 distributes license keys employing an information package. If PLA 3.0 cannot access the internet, you have to manually refresh your information package to authenticate your license keys.

Before you begin

On a computer connected to the internet, download your personal information package from https://www.bioassay.de/informationpackage. On this site, you have to enter your five-digit serial number to look up your information package. Make the information package available on the computer running PLA 3.0.

Procedure

To refresh your information package manually:
  1. Start PLA 3.0.
    Note: If a Registration dialog opens, we recommend you give your contact details so we can inform you about urgent matters that require updates to the PLA 3.0 system.
  2. In the Login dialog, select Tools, and select Refresh information package from the drop-down list.
  3. In the Refresh information package dialog, select … next to Refresh from a file.
  4. Navigate to the directory where you have saved the information package (.edpip) file, select it, and then select Open.
  5. Select OK.
